This unique and charming half Moroccan geode features a rugged exterior and sparkling white aragonite and calcite crystals. Calcite, a common mineral found in the earth's crust, is present in sedimentary rocks and composed of carbon, calcium, and oxygen. These rocks constitute a significant portion of the Earth's crust and serve as one of the largest carbon repositories of our planet. Calcite is known for its powerful energy amplification and cleansing properties.

Additional Details

White Moroccan geodes are not typically considered to be quartz. While they can contain quartz, the white appearance in many Moroccan geodes is often due to other minerals.
Some highlights:
Composition: aragonite, calcite, and quartz in a small amount.
Loose aggregation: The crystals within sand geodes can be loosely bonded. Unlike geodes with interlocking quartz crystals, the minerals in these geodes may not be as tightly integrated, leading to a weaker overall structure.
Porosity: Desert geodes can have a high degree of porosity, meaning they contain many small voids or pockets within their structure. This porosity can compromise the geode’s structural integrity, making it more susceptible to breaking apart.
Appearance and texture: Quartz crystals are harder and have a glassy luster. Desert geodes might have a more pearly-like luster and are more flaky and crumble-prone due to their tier degree of porosity.
